Coyote Ugly
It's been an harrowing week for yours truly. Illness in the family, death in the family and other issues have surfaced and resurfaced. It's been ugly. What's been interesting to me is that not only is everyone I know numb to the Coyote population implosion here in the metro area, but when I visited my parents in North Metro Atlanta, I saw one. Yep. Looks like ATL's Coyotes have become the talk of the town and out-of-town as well. My mom say she hears howling every night. This is curious to me for a myriad of reasons: #1 The Coyote isn't native to Georgia or anywhere NEAR Georgia.
#2 Why are there so many so quickly?
#3 Why aren't more people alarmed that a fairly large wild carnivore has just popped up in Metro Atlanta?
# Why are idiots feeding these things?
You would think that IN-town residences wouldn't have to worry about such an issue, but they are catching these critters as far IN-town as midtown and Buckhead. Yikes! I won't be letting the cat out anytime soon. Those things will yam up your pets, garbage and any un-fleet of foot fauna in your vicinity. Mix soon come, btw. Grit's 'n Gravy 14 is actually done. I've been dogged in my pursuits of late, but life's been hounding me. I've got a deadline and several other things bearing down on me right now.
