Third world people, remember where you're coming from...
Folk in the industry have been talking about ATL producer Bangladesh for a few years now but few in the city know much about him or what he represents as a sound. What I find interesting about the Atlanta Hip Hop scene alone- not to mention either the electronic or rock scenes- is it's amazing variety of approaches to the art form. It runs the gamut. The pic to the left is a flick I took from the 2008 A3C festival in Atlanta. He was a judge at the producer's showcase. He's got his own record indie record label and I've been waiting to hear something from his group Charlie Mackenroe (They are on the new Grits 'n Gravy, btw)- a group I fear we'll never hear from. Will we ever hear an album from them or INC signed ATL group the Thunderkatz? Only time will tell.
Labels: Bangladesh, Little wayne
