Art, Beats and Lyrics is an exhibition of multi-media art and design that explores the recent work of a diverse group of visual artists that have emerged from the subcultures in hip hop throughout the U.S. The core of the project involves painting, sculpture, and photography, as well as film, video, performance, and product design by more than thirty individuals who range from well known artists to up and coming local talent. AB+L started with an audience of over 400 people and grew to over 4,000 people for a one evening event at the High Museum
