@ Guitar Center with Waajeed

I remember catching Waajeed over at Django maybe a year ago. Man, I really wished he played more house. I think alot of DJ's come to Atlanta from out of town and are intimidated. They don't know what to play. I think more folks should be confident in the fact that if we came to see YOU, do you.

That said, Waajeed is one of my favorite aritists of the past 5 years or so. Platinum Pied Pipers STILL gets alot of burn in my iPod.

This was the song that brought us out of the dregs of Winter into the zest of Spring. For those that listen to Top 40 radio, this will bring them up to speed for the summer, methinks. I could be totally wrong. I have NO idea what they play on Top 40 Radio and I work at a Top 40 radio station. Is that bad? Thanks to World Star hip hop for the vid, btw.

Oh yeah, before I forget. Get your Everybody Nose on @ Cenci This Friday with the Radiant Kidz. Tired of so-so hip hop shows? They have the cure for you. Spent some time with progressive ATL Graphic Artists Wednesday.

This is for an upcoming Analogue Atlanta audio podcast episode to be featured on VIMBY.com. The guys allowed me to eavesdrop on their new projects and collaboration efforts for a day. A few things jumped out at me:

1. They love Atlanta.
2. These guys are talented, gifted.
3. These guys are sharp

But don't take my word for it. Check out Epidemik Coalition and Dosa Kim's blogs. I'm sure you'll be just as blown away as I was. I mean, I've seen these guy's work before but it's all been online. To see it up close and personal is just another matter completely. The guys gave me a few shirts too which I'm go ahead and rock all weekend because they are now the freshest-flyest clothes in my closet. lol.

Got this from Kanye's Blog. I've put a chromeo instrumental on a past Grit's 'n Gravy- which reminds me...I never did get around to mixing that GnG 14.5, did I? I've been so busy of late. All the songs are just sitting there in my "soon to be mixed" folder. lol. Do y'all really want it, anyway?
