Spree's been in NYC for just 1 week and already...

He's got a track with Kid Cudi and will be in the studio with Kanye West next week.
Wow.

I'll have snippets, possibly, as they become available. Good news for the home team!

Vote.

She's a great person, and an equally good blogger. The combination of those qualities has her up for an award.

If you haven't been to cmongood.com, then you're missing out on some of the hottest urban news, gossip and music videos. She covers it all and she highlights Atlanta acts as well.

The Black Weblog Awards was founded in 2005 to give recognition to Black bloggers (and those of the African diaspora) which were largely overlooked by other Internet award events online. What started out as a barely-known event has now grown into an international showcase. With participants from over 90 countries, the Black Weblog Awards stands out as one of the most widespread Internet award events for Black bloggers.
To date, the Black Weblog Awards has recognized nearly 200 blogs in 30 categories. The Awards has also been featured in several mainstream and online media outlets, including NPR, CNN, and others. Winners of the Black Weblog Awards have also went on to appear in other media outlets, like MSNBC, the Huffington Post, BET, and many others.

We're going to miss him...

It's official. Spree Wilson is gone for NYC to pursue his ambitions as an artist. We all wish him well! This is a little montage I put together in celebration of his work and to send him off right. He was like a little brother to me. He will be missed.

Warning.

This is some crazy stuff in this video...I interviewed Pill again recently for Creative Loafing and he stated that everything in this video was impromptu. He wanted to show that as much as they claim to be cleaning up Atlanta, that certain things still go on...and that there isn't hope for particular communities....

Well, damn:
