Sex on a Sunday

DISCLAIMER: I haven't heard it yet.

So why am I posting Mach5? Because I talked to A.Ware about some music he sent me earlier this year. The music he sent me, I felt, wasn't quite there yet. It had potential, though. Artists that also fit that mold at one point or another to me before winning me over later with improved sounds and approaches: Spree Wilson, B.o.B/Bobby Ray, Donnis, Blctxt, the list goes on. Artists grow.

I think for the kid to put out music "officially" must mean that he's made some adjustments. Adding Corey Davis (from City of Ink tattoo/Visual arts local fame) makes this collaboration even more interesting. Yeah, he's rapping now, too. Atlanta is full of artists in various disciplines and cross disciplines. That can't be a bad thing. I read their Q&A on Area84 and it looks like they put a lot of thought into this project. Does that mean it sounds good? No. I'll see when I get home this morning. But I'm willing to keep an open mind these cats are too artistic and talented not to have potential.
