We haven't had this chance often in Atlanta

The beauty of such a chance is that for an artist to be nominated for such a thing they've reached a critical mass of hipster and crossover love. Let's be honest here, MGMT is a great group but are they really new? They were signed to a major label deal in 2006. Santogold has been around the industry forever and I've had half her album (which is great, btw) since 2006 as well. Kid Cudi had a great single and you know how much I love Wale but...I'm going to have to tip my cap to a man that has done a breadth of work comparable to Wale with a level of quality that measures up as well. B.o.B is from my city. I have to give him my endorsement. Is his live show terrific? Yes. It's great the first time you see it. After that, it's kind of...well- it's the same exact show. A year later and it's still basically the same show. *shrugs* I love your music, but I'm not going to lie for you, Bob. Is he reaching his potential as a lyricist? I'll admit that I'm underwhelmed in comparison to the high hopes I first had when I heard "Gangster", which I felt was an introspective song turning the industry on it's head about the fake gangster images. Fine. I get it. Bills don't pay themselves. He's still one of the better new acts I've heard this year and recognizing the flaws in these other nominations, with exception of Wale and HEALTH, he's my pick. Don't delay. Go to URB.com and vote for B.o.B for URB's new Artist of the year. See? I even provided you a link. The job is halfway done for you.
